Movie: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of The Crystal Skull

Indiana Jones is back in 2008, taking on agents of the Soviet Union, on a quest for the crystal skull. This action adventure film should be interesting, as the production will incorporate traditional stunts and limit itself to computer generated action scenes. Produced by George Lucas.

So I must admit, there are a few food items I never get sick of at T.G.I. Fridays.  Granted, they aren’t the best in the world, but for they are incredibly good for the price.  I recently received a free appetizer coupon for T.G.I. Fridays, which was awesome.. The Fried Mac n Cheese things are the best.  It’s not hard to get the coupon, if you want your free appetizer just answer a few questions at their site and they are happy to send you one.  And here’s a brilliant plan, have your friends get a coupon too, then tag along when they use it.  Nothin’ better than free treats!!

Of course it was a must that I ordered the Sizzlin Chicken & Cheese.  So very tasty indeed.  You can make it at home too if you get the secret recipe.  It’s so worth it if you enjoy that dish, and I do.  It’s one I never get sick of..  yet at least.  That’s my food tip of the day!

Movie: Kung Fu Panda

This is why I love animation. I’ve always waited for an animated movie with a panda that can kick some major butt. And who better than to be the voice of this martial arts master than Jack Black. I’m looking forward to this Dreamworks picture. I’m quite sure this will be a hit film with quite a few.

Director: Mark Osborne, John Stevenson
Scheduled Release Date: June 6, 2008

Cast: Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu

Wow, I’m really starting to be impressed by the number of music festivals that are popping up all over the place. I’ve never been that excited to attend these things though. I mean, sometimes they are fun…..I guess. I think I’m turned off by the whole thing simply because of some of the experiences I have had at past music festivals. One of the biggest disadvantages that I see when going to these things is not being able to see your favorite musician or group play a longer set.. unless they happen to be a headliner of the event.

Anyway, I thought I would gather a list of 2008 music festivals that are taking place the rest of the year. I know I don’t have a complete list, but I scraped up some of the more popular ones that will be taking place. Some of the festivals have some really impressive websites where you can find out just about every thing you need to know if you plan on attending one of these events.

I plan to add more as my list of upcoming music festivals grow.

I’ve really been enjoying this season of LOST on ABC.  I’ve been addicted to the show ever since it debuted.  I must say, I haven’t missed one episode.  I think the way that this season has been playing out is awesome.  Each episode has had my complete attention from beginning to end.  This evening’s episode “Ji Yeon” was no exception.  I thought the whole panda in the cab scene was priceless.
